For the Living Room we purchased a set of two Antique Snow Ski Framed Prints with a matching Mirror and Hall Tree that created a Ski Lodge Look. These accessories complimented our Queen Sleeper Sofa perfectly.
The adjoining Kitchen is warm and inviting with our Hickory Counter Stools and matching Kitchen Table and Chairs which will seat 10 people.

Since purchasing our new lake house in Wisconsin Dells five years ago, we have worked on furnishing every room of the house. Upon taking a drive that first year in the area, looking for furniture, we drove right past Papa Bears, heading into Baraboo. I spotted the sign and told my husband to turn around. I just saw a sign for log furniture.
Well, let me tell you, this store is much more than log furniture. You can completely furnish your home. Not only furniture but your kitchen, your bedding, lighting and accessories. This is your one stop shop. That first day we walked into the store we were just in awe. We wanted to buy everything. We started with a bedroom at a time and after 5 years, we have furnished each of our four bedrooms, our kitchen and our family room. We purchased a different type wood for each bedroom. The master bedroom has a beautiful red cedar bed, dresser and mirror, and chest. Another bedroom has the asp, one has the pine and my other favorite is the hickory. The hickory is just beautiful. We purchased a sofa and love seat for our family room. Also, a table with benches and chairs for our kitchen. We have bought rugs, pictures, lamps, and also our kitchen dishes from Papa Bears.
After five years, we still have to stop in every month or so, just to see what they have that is different and new. There is always something we want Everyone at the store is always so pleasant and they always remember us when we stop in. Shirley has always been great to deal with and the service is second to none. This is definitely a stop you want to make, even if it is just to look around. That is entertainment in itself. I'm positive that you will love this store as much as we do.
