In 1999, Bill & Shirley Brown began their first business venture creating Papa Bear's Northwoods Store near Baraboo, WI, specializing in rustic home furnishings in all respects to decorate your special space. Both Bill and Shirley's lives revolve around what every log home owner cherishes, nature. The business rapidly grew leading itself to rapid expansion and a million dollar inventory. After decorating hundreds of log homes, the decision to sell log homes soon became their next dream. Choosing Golden Eagle Log Homes, and being hand picked by their owners to be on their team was truly an honor.
